Our Administration teams are the back bone of our business. These invaluable individuals ensure the smooth running of our dealerships and we would be lost without them!

Administration roles within Sytner are as varied as they are valuable; to give you an idea of this, two of our Administration team members gave us an insight into their roles.

"Working in Sales Administration is varied and interesting as it means that you have involvement with other departments, working very closely with the Accounts Department, Sales Department and also the Service Department. At times, it can be demanding as you are constantly working to deadlines and especially at month end it can be very pressurised, ensuring vehicles are taxed and invoiced in plenty of time for delivery and the paperwork is all ready in the file for customer signature.

We also work continuously towards audits, ensuring the accuracy of paperwork at all times. Often situations arise where problem solving skills are required, liaising with customers etc, this can be a challenge but also very rewarding at the same time.

Even though we work hard in Admin we also have a lot of fun too! As a dealership we are often rewarded by our Management team for our hard work and commitment, in ways such as Chocolate Friday, Fish & Chip Lunches, BBQ’s and Deli Friday! (you can tell the way to an Administrator's heart is through their stomach can't you!?)"

"Being in the Reception team means there is a lot of variety! You are always kept busy throughout the day and even if the phones are quiet, there is always something to do such as; customer meeting and greeting, sorting the outgoing post and looking after our customers with refreshments, or even placing the weekly stationery order.

When the phone starts to ring, it’s important to multi-task to ensure that calls get answered efficiently to maintain our high standard of customer service. Our busiest time would be first thing in the morning and from 4:30pm in the afternoons. In Reception you may also be asked to carry out duties such as database work and helping with Marketing for launch events, which is great fun and creates even more variety in the role!"
