27 March 2023
Sytner Group has continued its long-standing support of Ben and the incredible services the automotive charity provides, recently unveiling a £100,000 donation.
Ben provides support for life, for people who currently work in or have worked in the automotive industry. The charity affords access to vital services that help individuals and their families navigate life’s challenges and make positive, lasting changes to their lives. Working with a number of partners, Ben connects people with the right type and level of support across key areas such as mental health, physical health and wellbeing.
Zara Ross, Chief Executive Officer at Ben, Automotive Industry Charity, said: “Receiving another £100,000 donation from Sytner Group is astonishing. Now, more than ever, people within the automotive industry are accessing our services. Without the generous donations and fundraising efforts from extraordinary companies like Sytner Group, we would really struggle to cater for those people’s needs. It’s really brilliant.”
The donation reveal took place at the Group’s flagship Jaguar Land Rover site in South West London. Melvin Rogers, Sytner Group’s Director of Human Resources, was present at the unveiling and commented: “Being able to hand over the sum of £100,000 for the second year running is a testament to how committed Sytner Group is to supporting people within our industry. Since the pandemic began, we’ve donated over £250,000 to Ben because we know how valuable their services are to people who work at Sytner and in the wider industry.”
Supporting colleagues and communities is a key partner of Sytner Group’s aim, and continuing to support Ben is just one of the many ways the company actively engages with its communities and charitable causes.
