Sytner Group’s Fast Start Programme does just that. ‘Fast Start’ is a training programme designed specifically for individuals who are looking to start a career in Automotive Sales.
Our 12 week programme incorporates virtual classrooms alongside in-dealership activities and time spent within other departments to give a comprehensive and well-rounded view of the dealership environment and the role of a Sales Executive.
This is a mentored programme where the training is delivered via online classroom and continued coaching and support is provided by our expert trainers who are experienced within these positions. They are well equipped to provide the valuable tools you’ll need and insight into what the role entails.
There are several cohorts ran throughout the year and within your group you will have opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues across the UK in the same position. This allows you all to learn best practices together, share ideas and support one another in how to be a successful Sales Executive.
How it works
Weeks 1 – 4 – Within this time our new Sales Executives are dedicated to their training and receive a new virtual classroom per day, enabling you to collect the new skills and knowledge you’ll need. This is combined with putting your learning into practice based on the training session you have received and shadowing various members of the team in day to day activities. There is also opportunity to spend some time within other departments of the dealership so that you can experience how essential it is that we work together as “One Team”.
Weeks 5 – 8 – During this period you will receive a new virtual classroom per week and time to spend with your mentor who can support you with any queries that may arise or assistance that you may require. You will be active within the dealership, shadowing colleagues and getting involved in daily activities.
Weeks 9 – 12 – Towards the completion of your training you will receive a new virtual classroom every other week and will continue to receive support from your mentor. You will continue to be active within the dealership, putting your new skills and knowledge to practice as part of the team.
