Mercedes-Benz Colindale - Giving Back

Sytner Group are proud to continue our support in the local communities and Mercedes-Benz of Colindale are the latest to do just that.

Recently Mary Ryan, Dealer Assistant at Mercedes-Benz of Colindale reached out to a local infant school to offer our help where needed and a team of our dedicated colleagues joined forces to re-paint some of their outdoor areas.

Dean Young, James Bone, Deborah Taiwo, Cheryl Scott, Terence Farlow, Sam Knight and Khimji Gajperia joined Mary and spent the whole day on site ‘Giving Back’ and refreshed various areas of the playground and play areas for the children to enjoy. This included colourful snakes across the playground, climbing frames and play houses.

Following their visit Mary said “We reached out to the school as one of the teachers was a previous employee whilst doing her studying and I knew she worked in a special needs school close by, so I asked her if they would be interested in us doing something for the school .

They were delighted. The managers and myself... We had such fun... It was a long day but so worth it”

In addition to a mention in the schools’ newsletter, thanking us for our time and help, the head teacher at Deansbrook Infant School got in touch to say, “When we returned from half term our playground snakes and the houses in Reception and the Nursery looked wonderful!

The children themselves noticed as well when they came into school and were telling us how great the snakes looked. 

We are absolutely delighted with the work that has been done and please pass on our thanks to your team.”

Mercedes-Benz of Colindale and Deansbrook Infant School will continue to collaborate together in the future and we already have plans to support the students of Deansbrook with some exciting activities that will be coming up soon!

We are exceptionally proud of our teams getting out and actively engaging in their local communities and ‘Giving Back’ wherever we can.
