British Training Awards 2023

We’re very proud to announce that our Learning and Development team were recently awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Onboarding Initiative of the Year’ category at the British Training Awards.

The national awards aim to highlight the success of companies that are truly passionate about learning and development’s role in building a thriving organisation. Companies are as diverse as their people, and the British Training Awards celebrates inspirational teams who seek to be innovative in their approach to the learning and development of their colleagues.

The award is presented in particular for our ‘Fast Start’ Sales Executive programme, developed entirely by Sytner Group L&D. This programme aims to provide new colleagues in a sales executive role, with no previous industry experience the best start to their career with the business.

By offering the ‘Fast Start’ programme we are able to support with a consistent onboarding experience across the business, as well as delivering on our commitment of “Developing Talent and Building Careers” from the onset.

It also offers a structured and engaging induction to the business, as well as allowing us to bring new colleagues into the business who have the right attitude to deliver exceptional customer service, but who may not have worked in the automotive industry before.
