Sytner Colleagues Take On The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

14 March 2024

We’re proud to support numerous charities across the UK and recognise the importance of showing support to our colleagues and causes that are important to them.

This Spring two of our sites are taking on the same challenge, The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, to raise funds for charities that are important to them.

The challenge see’s participants taking on a distance just short of 25 miles and climbing a total of over 5000ft of ascent. The hills themselves are Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and form part of the Pennine range in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Jaguar Land Rover Huddersfield are taking part in May, which will be their second year taking on the peaks and to push themselves even further, they’re trying to complete the full walk within 12 hours! JLR Huddersfield have chosen to raise money for automotive charity BEN who Sytner Group have supported for many years and offer fantastic support for colleagues in our industry in many elements of well-being in work and home life.

Mercedes-Benz of Milton Keynes are also taking on the challenge and attempting the peaks this month. Three of our Apprentice Vehicle Technicians have chosen to raise money for the charity MIND who provide information, advice and support for individuals struggling with mental health, whether it is for themselves or someone close to them.

We’re very proud of our colleagues taking on such a gruelling physical test in aid of these fantastic charities.

At Sytner Group, our commitment to our ‘One Team’ culture goes beyond fulfilling our daily responsibilities. We actively promote our businesses and colleagues to engage and get involved in their local communities and arrange our own charity fundraising commitments.
