West London Audi Take Part In Harlequins Rival Ride!

22 May 2024

At Sytner Group we’re proud to support numerous charities and continue to support our colleagues who chose to take part in various activities and endeavours to get behind causes close to their hearts.

Earlier this month several colleagues from West London Audi took part in The Harlequins Foundation's cycling challenge, Rival Ride.

Over the course of two days, 80 cyclists took part in cycling 147 miles from Ashton Gate Stadium, the home of Bristol Bears Rugby Club to The Stoop, the home of Harlequins Rugby Club ahead of a match between the two teams. The riders were joined by some legendary Harlequins players on their journey to show their support and encourage the riders toward the finish.

The challenge was taken on in order to raise funds for The Harlequins Foundation. The foundation runs programmes in the local community that primarily support young people to develop the essential skills that they’ll need for the futures whether on or off the pitch!

So far, the 80 riders combined have raised over £46,000, and incredible amount for a fantastic cause with donations still incoming!

In addition to raising funds through their just giving page our colleagues arranged a blind auction to win both a signed Harlequins Rugby Ball and a signed Harlequins ‘Big Game 15’ Shirt. Furthermore, West London Audi kindly provided an Audi Q7 as a support vehicle to follow the riders on their journey across the two days.

At Sytner Group, we take pride in our ongoing commitment to support various charitable causes, giving back to our communities is a priority for us. Hence why we find it crucial to acknowledge and stand behind our colleagues in their dedicated efforts towards this shared goal.

One of the many great things about working for Sytner Group is that we give all colleagues an extra paid working day per year to be involved in voluntary work and support our colleagues with causes close to their hearts.
