Double recognition for Sytner Group at the Motor Trader Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce that we are proud winners of two awards at the Motor Trader Awards 2024!

We were awarded winners of both the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Award as-well as the coveted Skills and Development Award following a series of wins in previous years.

At Sytner Group our core values include our commitment to embracing diversity and inclusivity as-well as developing talent and building careers, making winning both of these awards particularly special.

The Motor Trader Awards celebrate excellence across automotive retailing and have been doing so for the last 34 years. With categories ranging from Aftersales Excellence Award, New Car of the Year to the Social Media Award the panel of 15 judges, each being experts’ in their field, individually mark and then deliberate over each entry as a group to decide the winners and those who are highly commended.

This years’ awards ceremony took place last week at the Grosvenor House hotel in London where we were able to connect and celebrate with peers and colleagues from across the entire motor industry sector.

These awards are testament to the hard work and commitment shown by both our Diversity & Inclusion and Learning & Development teams throughout our business.

We’re exceptionally proud of our colleagues who have shown continuous commitment to our core values and share our passion in striving to create equitable environments in which everyone is supported to be their best selves. Whether this be training and development opportunities or simply representing the diverse communities that we are located within.

We’d also like to specifically acknowledge our Diversity and Inclusion colleagues who’s dedication and drive meant that this year we awarded winner of the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Award following our ‘Highly Commended’ recognition in 2023. Proving that we’re taking strides in making Sytner Group a more inclusive place to work!

In equal measure our fantastic colleagues in our Learning & Development team continue their industry leading work in providing opportunity and knowledge to the colleagues within our business’s. A well-deserved win for another year running!
