Sytner Group Ltd are presenting a fantastic opportunity to join their Head Office Accounts department as an Assistant Accountant.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and highly motivated individual to join our Head Office accounts team based at Penman Way in Leicester.
The role will report to the Group Accountant and will include the following duties:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly departmental Income Statements
- Preparation and analysis of departmental Forecasts and Budgets
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Finance commission reconciliation and analysis
- Purchase ledger sales ledger and transactional level accounting
- Other adhoc duties as required
Required skills:
- You will have experience of transactional level accounting (accounts payable or accounts receivable)
- You will have a basic understanding of technical accounting including double entry bookkeeping
- You will be proficient within Microsoft Excel
- You will need to be an effective, articulate and confident communicator to all levels of management
- You be a willing and pro-active contributor to the team
- You will be flexible in adjusting to and prioritising business needs
- Experience of using Keyloop is an advantage but not essential
- Automotive industry experience is an advantage but not essential
