About the role
Sytner BMW Nottingham is looking for a punctual and enthusiastic Car Park Attendant & Driver to join our fantastic team!
As a Car Park Attendant & Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive on our car park. You will be an ambassador for our brand values, promoting our commitment to exceptional customer service and going the extra mile to exceed our customers' expectations. You’ll also be responsible for moving cars to ensure we have customer spaces on the front and aiding the technicians with locating cars in order to maximise workshop efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive on our car park, welcoming them with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist customers with parking their vehicles, providing guidance and directions where necessary.
- Monitor the car park to ensure that all vehicles are parked in designated areas and that there are no safety or security concerns.
- Maintain a clean and tidy car park, removing litter and debris and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that customers' vehicles are safe and secure, and assist them with any issues that may arise during their stay.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, but not essential.
- A friendly and positive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work a range of shifts including weekends and holidays if required
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- An excellent level of driving competence, including the ability to successfully manoeuvre vehicles in tight spaces, along with the confidence to drive a variety of vehicles, including both manual and automatic transmissions and both electric and combustion engines.
