Sytner Tamworth BMW
A rare opportunity to join one of the highest-performing BMW Retail teams in the country.
Sytner Tamworth BMW is looking for an exceptional New BMW Sales Performance Manager to join our experienced and highly successful Sales Leadership Team.
Tamworth has established itself as a genuine centre of excellence within the BMW network, delivering outstanding results and currently performing as the No.1 Sytner Group BMW Retailer nationally.
That level of performance has been built through exceptional people, clear standards, great teamwork and a relentless desire to keep improving.
We are now looking to add another standout performer to that team.
Someone with a demonstrable track record of excellence.
Someone who thrives around high standards.
And someone who sees joining an already successful business not as a place to become comfortable, but as an opportunity to make a real impact.
About the role
As our New BMW Sales Performance Manager, you will report to the BMW Sales Manager and play a key role in the leadership, performance and continued development of our New BMW Sales operation.
You will work alongside a highly experienced leadership team who will provide significant support, challenge and expertise, whilst also giving you the opportunity to bring your own ideas, personality and leadership style to the role.
Your focus will be on creating exceptional performance across every element of the customer and colleague journey.
You will:
- Lead, coach and develop our New BMW Sales team to consistently perform at an exceptional level.
- Drive the achievement of new car volume, profitability, finance, retention and Manufacturer performance objectives.
- Maintain an uncompromising focus on customer experience and ensure that every interaction reflects the standards expected of BMW and Sytner.
- Use performance data intelligently to identify opportunities, improve conversion and continually raise standards.
- Develop individual Sales Executives through regular coaching, performance conversations and clear, measurable objectives.
- Work collaboratively with your fellow Sales Managers and wider Retailer leadership team to deliver the best overall result for Tamworth.
- Ensure strong control of enquiry management, order bank, vehicle pipeline and sales processes.
- Bring energy, fresh thinking and new ideas to an already highly successful department.
- Challenge the status quo appropriately and continuously look for ways to make a great operation even better.
This is a highly visible role within the business and an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to demonstrate exactly what they are capable of.
About you
We are looking for an individual with an outstanding and demonstrable track record within automotive sales or sales management, ideally within the prestige sector.
You may already be an accomplished Sales Manager, Sales Controller or equivalent looking for your next challenge.
Alternatively, you may be an exceptional senior salesperson or developing leader who can demonstrate sustained top-level performance and is ready to make the next significant step in their career.
You will be:
- Highly driven and naturally competitive.
- Commercially astute and comfortable taking ownership of performance.
- An excellent communicator who can inspire and influence others.
- A strong coach who genuinely enjoys helping talented people become even better.
- Analytical enough to understand the numbers but people-focused enough to understand what really drives them.
- Positive, resilient and comfortable operating within a fast-moving, high-expectation environment.
- Someone with exceptionally high personal standards who leads by example.
- Curious, progressive and willing to challenge established thinking when there is a better way.
At Tamworth, ambition is encouraged, success is celebrated and strong people are given the space and support to make their mark.
