About the role
Sytner Specialist Division have a unique and rare opportunity for a Divisional Business Manager to join their high-performing F&I Team, working with some of the world's most prestigious and recognisable automotive brands.
As the Divisional Business Manager, you will be responsible for helping to manage and grow all aspects of the Finance departments across multiple Specialist Division sites. You will be at the core of all sales enquiries, improving sales processes within sales and Business Management teams, and taking overall responsibility for finance performance for allocated sites - including daily and weekly reporting to Head Office. You must also ensure that every customer has a clear understanding of the obligations they have entered into, doing so with integrity and above all, treating customers fairly.
Working alongside management teams at multiple sites, you will also oversee the day-to-day activity of both our sales into service programme (Xchange) and our customer retention programmes, where you will be expected to seek out incremental sales and stock acquisition opportunities for the businesses.
This is a Divisional role, and as such, there is a requirement to be based away from home as and when needed. Travel across England and Scotland will be essential, and flexibility is key to meet business demands. Sytner Business Managers work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends and bank holidays (on a rota basis) to ensure that we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.
About you
If you are already a high-achieving automotive Business Manager, Sales Controller or Sales Manager with sound financial and commercial understanding, then we would love to hear from you.
You will be joining a Divisional F&I Team who have and maintain the highest standards. A fantastic team player, with great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to be the best in everything you do — as well as being completely customer-focused with integrity at the core — are all essential attributes.
Ideally, you will have an outstanding work ethic and be able to lead from the front and inspire your colleagues to 'raise the bar' and exceed their full potential whilst driving finance and add-on performance forward. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience of working as part of a team with shared objectives and personal performance goals.
When applying for this role please consider that we require candidates to have Business Manager experience within the automotive industry as a minimum requirement for this role.
