About the role
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join our Team at Porsche Centre Chester as a Parts Manager.
As Sytner Parts Manager, you will lead a fantastic team in delighting our customers and getting it right the first time. You will be managing stock and helping to maximise the profitability and efficiency of the department. You will coordinate with the workshops and Sales teams as well as selling directly to the public.
This is a full-time role which can occasionally include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including stock management, ordering, and staff supervision
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and availability of parts
- Maintain optimal stock levels by forecasting demand, placing timely orders, and managing franchise relationships
- Supervise, train, and motivate the parts team to achieve performance targets
- Coordinate with service and sales departments to support workflow and revenue targets
- Manage budgets, profit margins, and departmental KPIs
- Implement and maintain parts pricing strategies
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
About you
Proven experience in automotive parts department management
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Experience with stock management software and dealership DMS systems
- Strong customer service focus with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions
- Full, valid driver’s license (preferred)
